The Day Tripper (Booked/Finished for 2011)
The Day Tripper is a 6.2 mile casual guided paddle which begins at the base of Birch Stream and proceeds downstream in the Penobscot River around Orson and Indian Tribal Islands to the Old Town boat launch.
Experience the gateway to the Northwoods on this four to six hour Guided “Stay and Play” adventure. Includes lunch stop (box trail lunch provided). This is a half day of fun and relaxation on the water. This “Stay and Play” adventure includes overnight lodging at The Black Bear Inn, ground transportation by Cyr Bus, complete equipment provision from Old Town Canoe and a licensed professional Maine Guide.

Note: CYR Shuttle pick up will be in two locations. For guests staying at the Black Bear Inn, you will be picked up at the hotel. For day trip only guests, you will be picked up at the Old Town Canoe Visitor Center (125 Gilman Falls Ave. Old Town ME) about fifteen minutes later.
